Hello to my friends and family!!! As you all know, I am studying marine biology at Hatfield for the next ten weeks, so communication may be a little bit tough. Fortunately blogging is really easy, high-tech (okay, low-tech, but still tech...), and fun. So, here is my first attempt. I will still call, I may even still write, but if you get a chance, log on and see what I have been up to. Check out my pictures, and leave me a note or two! Hopefully I may even see a few of you out here one of these weekends too! -DarcieP.S. This is a really grainy picture of the facility where I am staying at. Hatfield is in Newport, Oregon and is built up of OSU researchers, NOAA researchers, Fish and Wildlife and well, a lot of people researching a lot of different things. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is right next to it (where our reception will be at) and Rogue Breweries is right across the street, which is a little dangerous for the beer belly, studying, and pocketbook, but we don't complain.
